Beaches & Water
Malua Bay Beach is the main draw-wide, patrolled in summer, and great for swimming. Nearby McKenzies Beach suits surfers, while Garden Bay and Circuit Beach are smaller, sheltered coves ideal for kids, snorkeling, and rock pooling. Boaters love Mosquito Bay for its ramp and calm launches.
Nature & Walks:
Wander to Pretty Point Lookout for dramatic headland views, or explore trails within Eurobodalla National Park. Between coves you’ll find string-of-pearls coastal walks perfect for a golden-hour amble.
Eat & Drink:
Grab your morning coffee from local cafés, pick up supplies at the village grocer/IGA, and enjoy easy nights with fish and chips, pizza, or club bistro fare. Broader dining, fresh seafood, and markets are just up the road in Batemans Bay.
Family Friendly:
Gentle coves, grassy foreshore areas, a playground by the main beach, and plenty of sandcastle real estate make it simple with little ones.
Nearby Attractions:
Charming Mogo (≈10 min) for boutiques and the Mogo Wildlife Park; surf lessons in Broulee (≈10–12 min); kayaking and fishing spots dotted along the coast.
Day Trips:
Coastal hop between Broulee, Tomakin, and Tuross Head, or head north of Batemans Bay to see kangaroos on remote beaches. Roughly ~2 hrs to Canberra and ~4 hrs to Sydney by car.
In a nutshell: serene coves, surfable breaks, and everything you need within a flip-flop stroll—Malua Bay is your easy South Coast base.
